Course Overview

Pre-requisites
You do not need any special qualifications but you should have basic scientific, literary and numeric skills. 
Please note this course cannot be taken with GCSE Human Physiology & Health.

100 hours approx.

Exam Details
Exams are held in England, at a wide variety of regional examination centres. However there are a limited number of centres in Scotland, Wales, Eire and Northern Ireland.  Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your exams*, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. As exams are held in various parts of the UK, you shouldn't have to travel too far to sit them.

If you have any questions at any time about arranging your exams, the ICS Student Advisers will be pleased to help.

Exams take place in June and the entry deadlines are mid January. Coursework deadline is 31 March. 1 Written exam = 2 hrs  25mins & Coursework = 20% of total exam.

*Exam fees not included in course fee.
