If you have a love for the written word, this course can help you take your passion to the next level.

GCSE English Literature will help you learn to appreciate and understand just what makes the art of writing so fascinating. You'll explore ways to improve your own writing, learn how to bring a page to life, and discover how to add depth to a piece of work. The topics covered on this home study course include Introducing Prose, Exploring Drama, and Appreciating Poetry.

What's more, by gaining this qualification, you'll also have the perfect grounding to take an 'A' Level in the subject.

You do not need any special qualifications, however you should be able to read and understand basic English.

Exam Details
Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your exams*, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. As exams are held in various parts of the UK, you shouldn't have to travel too far to sit them.

If you have any questions at any time about arranging your exams, the ICS Student Advisers will be pleased to help.

Exams take place in June, the exam enrolment deadlines are mid January and coursework deadline is 31 March. Written exams = 70% & Coursework = 30%
