By taking the Motorcycle Maintenance course you could get to know your motorbike inside and out. In fact, you'll gain the skills needed to get to grips with every aspect of motorcycle  repair and maintenance in no time at all.

The course covers everything from internal combustion engines right through to electrical systems, but that's just for starters. You'll also learn all about general maintenance and troubleshooting. So whether you want to start a career or business in motorcycle repair, or you'd simply like to save money on garage repairs, this course will help you make the most out of your passion for bikes.

The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) has approved ICS as an Approved Assessment Centre and endorsed the Motorcycle Maintenance course as a Quality Assured Award (QAA), which is independent verification of our quality, professional competence and integrity.

Pre-requisites
The great news is that you don't need any previous experience to take this course.

Study Time
120 hours approx. For example: 10 hours per week to complete in 3 months, or 2.5 hours per week to complete in 12 months. Study as little or as much as you wish.

Exam Details

This course includes a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and then forward to your tutor. Once your tutor has marked and graded your work, they'll send it back to you with their comments, if any.

Qualification
ICS/IMI Certificate in Motorcycle Maintenance.

ICS will register you with IMI and you will receive an IMI Certificate on successful completion of all test papers.
