Course overview
An AS in Accounting is an excellent starting point for a career in the highly-paid profession of accountancy. But an understanding of the principles behind this subject is valuable in many areas.

As part of working towards this valuable qualification, you'll gain a better understanding of many of the subject areas involved - including verification of accounting records, development of the accounting model, and preparing final accounts.

Pre-requisites
You do not need any special qualifications but some basic maths skills would be helpful.

Assessment
Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your own exams*, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. Exams are held in various parts of the UK.

Exams take place in June and the entry deadlines are mid January. 3 written exams = 3 hours

*Exam fees not included in course fee.
