Course Synopsis :
Oxford College ODL offer this AS Level course in Critical Thinking. On completion of your two part course you will :
Gain the ability to clarify your ideas and expressions, and to communicate them effectively
Identify and analyse reasoning of different kinds, and recognise and evaluate assumptions
Learn how to produce cohesive and persuasive views of your own through careful analysis
Develop these important skills by participating in many informative and entertaining activities
This course examines the way that we provide reasons for our actions and beliefs, and how we analyse and evaluate methods of reasoning. It explores techniques that can be developed with practice, and will provide you with skills that are essential for continuing into higher education.

Entry Requirements : Basic English reading and writing skills, as full tutor support is given.

Qualification : AS Level in Critical Thinking (OCR).
