Ancient history is a fascinating subject - why else would Hollywood spend millions making movies about our distant past!
By taking this home study 'A' Level, you'll discover the stories behind the myths and legends, and gain a broad knowledge of what it was like to have lived in ancient times. The topics you'll cover include The Catilinarian Conspiracy, Roman History, The Growth and Government of the Roman Empire, The Athenian Empire, Greek History and Sparta in the Greek World.

Candidates should normally possess GCSE English at Grade C or above.

Exam Details
Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your exams*, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. As exams are held in various parts of the UK, you shouldn't have to travel too far to sit them.
If you have any questions at any time about arranging your exams, the ICS Student Advisers will be pleased to help.
Exams take place in January and June with the exam enrolment deadlines being mid August and January respectively.
