No management or accountancy experience is required to begin studying but you must be 18 years or older, with 2 A Levels (Grades A - E) and 3 GCSEs (Grade C or above), including English Language and Maths at either level.  Advanced GNVQs in Business and National Diploma/Certificates in Business are also acceptable.  The CIMA will also consider students aged 25 or older who have considerable practical experience of accountancy and are currently working in the field.

Study Time
100 hours approx. For example: 8 hours per week to complete in 3 months, or 2 hours per week to complete in 12 months. Study as little or as much as you wish.

As an ICS student you will have your very own personal tutor helping you with your course work and with any questions you may have. Plus our team of Student Advisors are only a phone call away for all the practical advice you may need - so we really are with you 100%.

Exam Details
This course includes a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and then forward to your tutor for grading and comments.  You'll also be required to sit exams at an authorised testing centre near you.  Exams are held in May and November each year.
