Develop your future to its full potential with ICS
If you've decided a career in Human Resource management is for you, a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) is the only way to get things moving. The CIPD is the largest professional body of its kind in Europe and its qualifications, which are nationally recognised in the UK, are essential for a successful career in this field.
Core Management This qualification enables you to gain Licentiateship of the Institute and is equivalent to the NVQ Level 4 in Management. An essential stepping stone if you want to fast-track a career in Personnel Development and Management.
Pre-requisites
This graduate qualification should be studied in the order of Core Management, People Management and Development/Applied Personnel and Development and the Electives.
To commence this post-graduate level course, you must have either:
a degree in any discipline
2 A levels or an HNC/HND in any discipline plus one year's experience in HR/personnel.
5 years' HR experience
Some students may be entitled to exemptions; evidence of prior qualifications will be required.
All students will be required to take part in a telephone interview prior to release of study material. This is requested by CIPD.
Study Time 360 hours approx. For example: 10 hours per week to complete in 3 months, or 4 hours per week to complete in 9 months. Study as little or as much as you wish.

Exam Details
This course includes a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and then forward to your tutor for grading and comments. You'll also be required to sit exams at an authorised testing centre near you. Please note that membership and exam fees are not included in the cost of your course.
This qualification also requires the student to successfully complete the following:
Two 3 day residential workshops (central UK location; accommodation fees not included)
4 assignments
2 hour examination for each module (local venue)
