Course Overview In order to be admitted to Graduate membership of the CIPD, you are required to satisfy the Applied Personnel and Development Standards. Completion is also required for postgraduate certification.
Applied Personnel and Development is included with ICS's People Management and Development course. This individual option is for students who have not and will not study People Management and Development with ICS.

Pre-requisites
This course is only open to students working towards achievement of CIPD Membership.
Study Time 120 hours approx. For example: 10 hours per week to complete in 3 months, or 2.5 hours per week to complete in 12 months. Study as little or as much as you wish.

Exam Details The Applied Personnel & Development Standards contain two aspects, both of which will be assessed:
a 7000-word management report
continuing professional development log of at least 35 hours' activity
You will be given the opportunity to submit drafts of your work, and receive detailed feedback, before your final submission.
Qualification
This course does not lead to a particular qualification but is an essential part of the PDS.
