Our Certificate in Personnel Practice course is approved by the CIPD, and is the ideal choice if you want to gain a thorough understanding of personnel and its functions. It provides an introduction to the field of personnel, with strong emphasis on the skills required to be successful in today's business environment.

You'll learn vital skills such as interpersonal and interviewing skills, instruction techniques, employment legislation and personnel issues - and that's just for starters!

Pre-requisites
The great news is that you don't need any previous experience to take this course, however, some personnel experience would be beneficial.

Students are required to hold student membership of CIPD. Our CIPD advisors will arrange this.

You will be required to take part in a telephone interview prior to release of your study materials. This is requested by CIPD.

Study Time
120 hours approx. For example: 10 hours per week to complete in 3 months, or 2.5 hours per week to complete in 12 months. Study as little or as much as you wish.

Exam Details
This course includes a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and then forward to your tutor. Once your tutor has marked and graded your work, they'll send it back to you with their comments, if any.

This qualification also requires the student to successfully complete the following:
Two 3 day residential workshops (accommodation fees not included)
4 assignments (2 written and 2 skills-based)
A project/management report
A presentation related to the project
A learning log
