Course Overview
In the current business climate, it really pays to have a good grasp of a second language - especially French.
By taking GCSE French you'll not only gain an added advantage when pursuing the job you want be it here or overseas, but communicating on holidays (or business trips!) will be made that much easier.
This home study course will give you a great understanding of spoken and written French, and the topics you'll cover include My World, Holiday, Time and Travel, Work and Lifestyle, and The Young Person in Society. What's more, because we provide you with audio tapes, you can start speaking the language straight away.
There is no deadline for enrolment so you can start your course at any time.

Exam Details
Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your exams*, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. As exams are held in various parts of the UK, you shouldn't have to travel too far to sit them.
If you have any questions at any time about arranging your exams, the ICS Student Advisers will be pleased to help.
Exams take place in June and the entry deadlines are mid January. Exams consist of Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing = 3 hours 25 mins.

Further Reading You should have a good bi-lingual dictionary and access to a tape recorder for listening to the course tapes and recording your assignments.
NB: ICS cannot accept assignments recorded on dictaphone tapes.
