About The Learning Institute

Founded in 1995, The Learning Institute aims to help people set up their own home-based business.

The course range includes interior design, garden design and horticulture, writing, complementary therapies, and catering.

Courses are supported by web-based material, and students can discuss issues with each other.

There are over 40 Learning Institute tutors who are all full-time practitioners,  bringing their on-the-job experience to the course. Students get advice directly from active experts - not armchair theorists.

Courses are accredited by the Open and Distance Learning Association (ODLQC). The ODLQC regularly assesses the quality of Learning Institute courses to make sure they are meeting ODLQC's strict quality requirements.
