A Level Sociology

Course Overview
Sociology, or the way we function in society - our conformities and deviances, shared beliefs and conflicts - is what shapes the world we live in. It's a fascinating subject, and one you can learn all about by taking a home study 'A' Level Sociology course with ICS.

The topics covered on the course include Families and Households, Mass Media, Education, Work and Leisure, Sociological Methods, Power and Politics, Religion, Theory and Methods, Crime and Deviance, and Social Stratification.

There are many careers open to those with an 'A' Level in sociology, and no wonder when you consider how many unanswered questions there are about social behaviour.

There is no deadline for enrolment so you can start your course at any time.

What our students say
"I studied two A' levels with ICS to help me get to university - it was convenient for me because my school didn't offer courses I wanted to do and I'm not tied down to a rigid way of studying. The textbooks were easy to find, and the coursework is very self-explanatory."    Leon Williams.

Key Jobs
Whether your goal is to go on to Higher Education or you are keen to make a start in your chosen career, studying A Levels with ICS  will help make these choices available to you in the future.
