A Level French
Course Overview
If you have GCSE French at grade C or above and want to further your learning in this fantastic language, then our home study 'A' Level course is the ideal step up.
French is becoming more and more popular, and with so many employment opportunities opening up across the channel for people with the right qualifications, it makes perfect sense to further your learning in the subject. The course covers everything from Aspects of Society, to The Cultural and Social Language in Focus, to Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. And thanks to the audio tapes we'll provide you with, you can start speaking the language straight away.
There is no deadline for enrolment so you can start your course at any time.
Pre-requisites
Candidates will be expected to have studied GCSE French at Higher Tier. If you have not yet completed this prerequisite, then why not enrol in the ICS-GCSE French course and get the qualification you need to go on and succeed with your 'A' Levels?
Students will also need access to a tape recorder and blank tape.
Study Time 200 hours approx.

Exam Details
Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your exams*, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. As exams are held in various parts of the UK, you shouldn't have to travel too far to sit them.
If you have any questions at any time about arranging your exams, the ICS Student Advisers will be pleased to help.
Exams take place in January and June with the exam enrolment deadlines being mid August and January respectively.
*Exam fees not included in course fee.
