A Level History
Course Overview
If you have a real passion for the past and want to learn more about it, you should study 'A' level History with ICS.
This home study course will not only provide you with an essential understanding of how things really were in days gone by, but it will also prove to an employer that you have excellent attention to detail and are able to consider things from a broad perspective. The topics you'll cover on the course include Poverty and The British State, Weimar Germany, Life in Hitler's Germany, Expansion and Aggression, Representation and Democracy, and Chartism.
There is no deadline for enrolment so you can start your course at any time.
Pre-requisites
GCSE History is not a requirement as such, although it is essential that candidates possess an inquiring mind, an interest in the past, and the ability to communicate.
Study Time 200 hours approx.

As an ICS student you will have your own personal tutor helping you with your course work and with any questions you may have. Plus our team of Student Advisors are only a phone call away for all the practical advice you may need - so we really are with you 100%.
Exam Details
Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your exams*, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. As exams are held in various parts of the UK, you shouldn't have to travel too far to sit them.
If you're based outside of the UK, it may be possible to sit your exam through your local British Council, depending on your location. If you have any questions at any time about arranging your exams, the ICS Student Advisers will be pleased to help.
Exams take place in January and June with the exam enrolment deadlines being mid August and January respectively.
