If you're looking for a challenging yet rewarding career in IT, then you should consider taking the ICS Introduction to Computer Programming course.
Computer Programmers are often seen as the linchpin of the IT industry. It's their job to write the detailed instructions (programs) that tell the computer what to do to perform certain functions.
Programmers are essential to a wide variety of projects in almost every industry - from banking to computer games to the space shuttle! So you could end up working almost anywhere you like in this dynamic, challenging and rewarding field.
As this is an introductory course, you'll find it's been designed to give you a comprehensive introduction to the techniques and principles of programming computers. What's more, because it features several different computer languages - including Visual Basic, HTML and Javascript- you'll gain a broader understanding of the subject.
Pre-requisites
The great news is that you don't need any previous experience to take this course.

Exam Details
This course includes five multiple-choice test papers that you complete as part of your coursework and then forward to your tutor. Once your tutor has marked and graded your work, they'll send it back to you with their comments, if any.
