Canine Science
Aim & Assessment
The course aims to provide students with a level 3 (advanced) knowledge regarding the evolution, physiology and behaviour of the grey wolf (Canis lupus) and the domestic dog (Canis familiaris). It then applies this knowledge to the behaviour of the domestic dog (Canis familiaris) in a domestic environment. This includes recent approaches to control and behavioural therapy. The course is conducted by post and assessment takes the form of question papers alongside report writing.
Certification & Fees The course is certifified by the Institute for Animal Care Education (www.iace.org.uk). The tuition fees are £250 in the EU and £287.50 outside the EU.
